Stay A Night In The Dales At Ravenseat Farm From ‘Our Yorkshire Farm’

You’re probably familiar with The Yorkshire Shepherdess and Ravenseat Farm already, and if you’re not, you’re seriously missing out and need to tune into Our Yorkshire Farm next Tuesday when it’s back on Channel 5. But anyway, for those who are familiar, you’ve probably been swooning over the Owen’s idyllic farm life, where they live and work as hill shepherds with their nine children. Getting to live in the rolling North Yorkshire countryside? Sounds like a dream to me.

If you have been fancying a day-in-the-life of the Owens, you’re in luck, because it turns out you can actually stay at night at Ravenseat Farm – the very farm that the family lives on. The Owens offer up a quiet retreat in their Shepherds Hut on the premises, where you can enjoy a private stay beside a beautiful waterfall with your nearest and dearest.

Take a break with zero Wifi and absolutely no phone signal (sorry, Instagrammers) – with just you and your guest of choice left with real conversation and the fresh Yorkshire air. Inside the hut, you’ll find a cosy double bed with wood-panelled walls for a real “cottagey” feel, with a kettle and coffee making facilities inside to keep you toasty and full of caffeine. Toilet and shower facilities are also on-site, so you don’t have to worry about losing your luxuries during your stay.

Nestled within the Swaledale countryside in North Yorkshire, the farm is closeby to popular tourist spots such as the Tan Hill Inn, Garsdale Head, and just 45 minutes away from Barnard Castle if you’re due for an eye test.

Bookings are temporarily suspended, but you can keep your eye on any changes and find out how to book your stay here.
