Over the last few years, bao buns have become more and more popular across the UK, and have to say, we are big fans of those fluffy balls of heaven. So, when we heard that Barrowboys was doing a bottomless brunch with these steamed beauties, we had to shout about it!
Found on Abbeydale Road in Sheffield, Barrowboys is one of the coolest cocktail bars that Sheffield has to offer. Deckards, who are award-winning kings of bao buns, have a home in Barrowboys Sheffield and create these beautil baos that will make your brunch extra special.
The bottomless brunch is every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Barrowboys and is from 12pm – 4pm, where they offer bottomless booze including beers & selected cocktails, two bao buns & chips. You have 90 minutes to enjoy bottomless booze – what more could you want this summer?
Two of our favourite bao buns that we can’t recommend enough are ‘Better Call Seoul’, which contains Korean brisket, house slaw, gochujang mayo, coriander. The second favourite is their Katsu bao buns, which have Bread aubergine, Japanese curry sauce, tonkatsu sauce, shredded cabbage, Japanese spices, nori.
You get all that grub and booze for just £25, which is an absolute bargain. It’s a great way to get together with friends, and one not to miss out on this summer.
You’ll end up ordering more bao buns, we guarantee you. But this bottomless brunch is one of the best in Sheffield. As well as a great deal, you can enjoy a chilled and cool restaurant that has character and charm.
