So you want to go to Leeds. Next on your list: booking the hotel. Now, the city is packed full of comfortable budget hotels, but why settle for less when you can opt for something with a little touch of luxury? From opulent suites to stylish aparthotels, we’ve done the hard work for you and rounded up some of the very best hotels in Leeds.
The only problem with any of them is that you’ll likely never want to leave. Fluffy pillows and comfy duvets pending…
1. The Bells

Home to an array of luxury, serviced apartments, The Bells is well-located by The Calls – a trendy neighbourhood that’s become a hotspot in the city.
Eight stunning apartments call the building home, each decorated as lavishly as the next with regal, stylish pieces that elevate the experience. The best part? Some even have hot tubs.
Overlooking Bridgewater Place and some of the city’s best street art, guests can expect plenty of lavish finishings throughout, including Sonas speakers, rainfall showers, kingsize beds and more. Find out more here.
2. Dakota

One of the city’s swankiest hotels, Dakota Leeds offers a seriously luxurious stay – with velvety finishes at every turn, seriously comfy beds, and elegant decor.
It’s nationally one of the country’s favourite luxury stays, not only because of how lovely the rooms are, but also because of Dakota’s decadent restaurant, too.
The on-site grill is an absolute haven for steak lovers, with huge Porterhouse steaks, Chateaubriand, and other fine cuts available to order. The Dakota Grill and bar is also loved for its fantastic wine selection, too, which boasts fine bottles from around the world, and a number of English wines, too. Book here.
3. Quebecs

Ideally located in the heart of the city near Trinity Leeds and the many shopping arcades, Quebecs offers quite the regal feel for its guests, with traditional, country-style decor, tons of original features from the 1800s, and plenty of opulent finishes to add to the luxury factor.
Think spacious suites with gorgeous balconies, roll-top bathtubs, spiral staircases and great views of the city. Find out more here.
4. Crowne Plaza

I know it’s a chain that can be found in most cities, but hear me out. The Crowne Plaza is by far one of the most comfortable stays I have ever had – with so many luxury details that can easily be overlooked.
I’m talking great pillows, luxurious pillow sprays and even spa facilities, swimming pools and stylish bars. If you’re after a comfortable stay with soft, squishy beds that you can literally fall into and luxury amenities without the hefty price tag, you really can’t go wrong. Book here.
5. Queens Hotel

If you’ve been anywhere within half a kilometre of Leeds train station, you’ve probably spied the grand Queens Hotel. But what you’ve probably also done is assumed that due to its location (and epic size) above the railway is that it’s an old budget hotel to steer clear of. And if you have assumed that, you’re very, very wrong.
The Queens Hotel is one of the best hotels in Leeds and is beautiful inside-out, with opulent art deco architecture and classic decor from the minute you walk through the doors.
It’s the kind of place you’ll immediately want to grab a glass of fizz in, before winding down in a glamourous, comfy room complete with stylish furnishings and calming blue touches (and very comfy duvets!).
Downstairs, guests can dine in opulence, too, thanks to the recent addition of the Grand Pacific restaurant – an ‘oasis’ of Eastern cuisine with high-class interiors, great cocktails and delicious food. Find out more.
