Lewis Capaldi has announced his first tour in more than two years, fresh off the heels of his triumphant Glastonbury return.
The popular Scottish singer took a two-year hiatus from showbiz after originally performing Glastonbury’s coveted Pyramid stage in 2023, when the crowd affectionately helped him through his set as he struggled with Tourette’s symptoms.
Capaldi’s highly anticipated comeback was marked with mysterious billboards in both Glasgow and Glastonbury, which had fans correctly theorising that he’d be performing a secret set at the festival last weekend. A new single, Survive, was also released last Friday.
Capaldi will kick off his comeback tour this September in Sheffield, with a show at Utilita Arena on the 7th September, before a limited string of dates across the country in cities such as Glasgow, London and Manchester.
The ten-date tour runs throughout September only, and will be his only European dates this year.
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, 8 July, followed by general sale at 9am on Thursday 10 July.
The singer announced the news on his Instagram today in a video captioned: “about time I got back to work… hope to see you out there”
