Snooker Legend and oldest and youngest UK Championship winner was spotted in York by a fan who caught the encounter in a hilarious video that has gone viral on TikTok. Maybe, the world champion had just popped to the popular York Christmas Markets for a quick shopping session before the match.
In the video, Ronnie O’Sullivan seems amused by the encounter as an excited fan caught him waiting at the bus stop across the road from popular food market SPARK:YORK.
Spotting the snooker champion the excited fan said: “Look who I’ve got here! My Ronnie O’Sullivan, the star man. My blessed boy, the world legend of snooker champion. I’ve got him right here mate.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe I met you, you know. I was looking out for you. Bless you!” People were quick to share their love for the encounter writing in the comments below.

People were quick to praise Ronnie for his use of public transport despite his success with one person saying: “The legend even gets a bus. Real man of the people”.
This spot was ahead of his championship win that made him the oldest-ever winner of the tournament two days before he turned 48. he beat Ding Junhui on Sunday 3rd December.
The win was O’Sullivan’s eight title in York in three decades after he became the youngest player to win it at just 17 years old.
