Now we’ve finally got Halloween out the way we can begin our favourite time of year! Christmas events across Yorkshire will start to begin this month and we cannot wait! Sewerby Hall Winter Wonderland 2022 is set to kick off Christmas with a bang.
Give us twinkling Christmas lights, hot steaming mugs of mulled wine and all the tasty treats that come along with festive fun. This East Yorkshire winter wonderland has all that and more.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens near Bridlington East Yorkshire is home to a winter wonderland like no other that includes a spectacular display of lights, sounds and special effects that bring the grounds to life for a festive evening like no other.

The enchanted winter wonderland is coming to Sewerby Hall from Friday 9th December to Friday 23rd December 2022. It is split into six sessions each evening.
Arrival times are as follows: 4.30pm-5pm; 5pm-5.30pm; 5.30pm-6pm; 6pm-6.30pm; 6.30pm-7pm; and 7pm-7.30pm, and you can walk around the free-flowing experience before arriving at the courtyard where the food and drink are located.
What to expect at Sewerby Hall Winter Wonderland 2022…
Enjoy the light and sounds of a winter woodland wonderland as you walk around a free-flowing trail that is lit up with a stunning display of colours. Watch out for woodland elves as they get up to mischief outside of the toymaker’s workshop as they play, craft and dance with reindeer.
Inside the house, you’ll be greeted with Christmas decorations and a huge tree with more elves in hiding and a new exhibition named ‘Elves – not just for Christmas’.
Will there be food and drink?
Will there! Inside a large marquee, you’ll be able to enjoy freshly made pizza from Stables Pizza Company and the Clock Tower Cafe. There will also be a bar serving up beers, wine and a whole host of festive treats for you to gorge on.
