A brand new restaurant offering an unforgettable dining experience is opening at The Motorist. You can dine surrounded by vintage cars in a restaurant named after the legendary Le Mans corner, The Arnage.
The Motorist is made up of four key factors The Motorist Garage, The Motorist Café and Showroom, events and now the stunning new restaurant The Arnage Restaurant, Yorkshire in Sherburn in Elmet.
Opening on Thursday, May 19th, the menu has been created by award-winning chef Ian Matfin who has worked in Gordon Ramsay restaurants along with many other prestigious venues. The Arnage Restaurant is the newest addition to The Motorist offering a high-quality dining experience. The North Yorkshire restaurant is packed full of thoughtful details that tell the automotive and motorsport history.

The restaurant will seat 78 people below, and the corporate lounge will seat 100 people upstairs. “We are extremely delighted to finally announce the introduction of our latest project at the Motorist – the Arnage,” says founder Simon Spinks.
So what delights can you expect from The Arnage Restaurant? They offer a fantastic menu with come classic mains such a steak and ale pie with mushy peas, skin-on fries and gravy; fish and chips, and they haven’t forgotten about the veggie with lovely beetroot gnocchi. They also do a range of burgers, a catch of the day and some light bites for those not looking for a full meal.

Starters consist of chicken liver parfait, poached king prawn bao buns and a classic tomato soup served with sourdough. If you’ve got room for dessert you can scarf down our favourite a sticky toffee pudding, or if you’d like a more savoury option, you can enjoy a cheeseboard.
The menu is inspired by moto racing with names such as ‘Starting Grid’, ‘Pit Stop’, ‘Main Event’, and ‘Podium Finish’ for dessert.

It also has a conference space to cater to every event. And, also meeting rooms are named after iconic drivers with artwork adorning the walls.
