The Furnace announced their opening date as the 7th of June and displaying highlights of their beautiful menu via their social media channels. There are many highlights to their Yorkshire-themed menu such as a starter of Yorkshire Tea-smoked mackerel, which will be welcomed by brew-loving Yorkshire folk. Another one of their starters is a Yorkshire fishcake, which is a nod towards the classic fish & chips, everyone’s favourite Friday tea.

Their main menu carries on the nod to Yorkshire with its Steak, Potatoe and Henderson’s Relish Pie. We all know that a Sheffield restaurant wouldn’t be truly accepted without a bit of good ol’ Hendo’s. The one we can’t wait to try is their Yorkshire Pudding and vanilla ice cream dessert! Yes, we all know that Yorkshire puds are desserts as well – yummers. Wash all this down with a drink that’s a nod to Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys with a Mardy Rum Punch.
