Warren Ford, the tea consultant and buyer who devised the iconic Yorkshire blend helping to make Yorkshire Tea what it is today has sadly passed away.
The simple cuppa has helped people through heartaches, tea breaks, holidays and so much more. We will be sipping a brew in his memory today.

Yorkshire Tea’s released a statement saying: “We’re very sad to say that Warren Ford, the man who created the Yorkshire Tea blend, has passed away.
“He made a huge contribution to our business and the trade, was a man with a story for every situation, and continued to be a regular face in our Tea Tasting Room over five decades. Thank you, Warren. You will be dearly missed.”

Condolensces have flooded in with one person writing: “Thank you Warren for making the BEST tea”
Another wrote: “Very sorry for your loss and condolences to Warren’s family. They and Yorkshire Tea must be incredibly proud of his legacy. I was just about to make another cuppa so will raise and drink it to Warren”.
And a third wrote: “Thank you Warren for teaching the world what tea should really taste like! Your legacy is a tea that’s loved world wide”
