Yorkshire Coast Vineyard At Robin Hood’s Bay Applies For Alcohol Licence To Offer Wine Tours

Robin Hood’s Bay is one of the Yorkshire Coast’s gems, which sees thousands of visitors flock to the idyllic fishing village all year round. It’s not surprising with its wandering streets and alleyways. The place is set in time.

Bay Vineyard plans to offer tours of the vineyard followed by a wine tasting starting later this year, according to the company’s website. If it is approved the sale of alcohol would be permitted from 9am to 11:30pm seven days a week.

The vineyard was established back in 2017 and produces hardcrafted wines in the heart of North Yorkshire coast. They describe their wines as ‘extraordinary wines for every occasion’. The spot is nestled above the North Yorkshire village – so you can also experience the beauty of the coast as well.

The application also proposed opening hours from 9am to midnight. The proposal is currently pending with the license authority and representations can be submitted to the council by residents.

The little fishing village has a charm like no other with its red-roofed houses and maze like walkways. It’s the most picturesque spot to spend the day.

The deadline for comments is March 21st, according to The Scarborough News. Visit the vineyards website here to learn more about it.
