A Four-Day Long Festival Dedicated To Cheese Is Coming The Yorkshire Dales

Love a good cheese board? Or, are you a fan of all things cheese? Then we have the festival for you! The Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival 2022 will be returning this October for an un-brie-lievable four days of fun this October 2022.

This festival will be welcomed by all cheese lovers and visitors looking to enjoy some inspiring food and drink with the stunning and unique landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales.

Taking place from Friday 7th October to Monday 10th October, the Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival 2022 will celebrate the incredible produce of the Yorkshire Dales. It will include a range of local businesses hosting special events such as menus, and tasting to mark the occasion.

There will be delicious cheeses to try and cheesy dishes in local cafes and restaurants in Leyburn, Skipton, Hawes and more also demos using local produce, cookery courses, dining experiences and more.

Riverbank in Burnsall is putting a cheesy twist to some of their excellent home-baked best sellers, including its Fatboys sausage rolls wrapped in nutty Emmental cheese and cheesy scones. The Burgoyne Hotel in Swaledale will be serving up famous Swaledale cheese and & gin and some freshly baked scones.

Town End Farm Shop & Tea Room near Skipton are serving Dale End Mac n Cheese, Mac n Cheese toasties, a trio of Wensleydale cheeses and fruit cake, and fabulous local cheese and charcuterie – yum.

As well as great cheeses, there will be Yorkshire gin and ales to wash down all that dairy. If you’ve got room, there will be specially created dairy ice creams and sorbets, jams, jellies and chutneys, locally-reared meat on menus, and the chance to meet the makers.
