Planning any holiday can be a serious stress for parents with kiddies to please and prices to think about. Well, Premier Inn has had its say on the perfect places for families to visit this summer 2023.
If you’re not planning a sun-soakers trip abroad or a holiday park by the coast then they’ve suggested a list of great options including a cheeky offering in – you’ve guessed it by the headline – Yorkshire. Yes, got out and about with the last of the summer hols and see God’s Own Country!
The research commissioned by Premier Inn has named the top 20 places in Britain for a family-friendly staycation with tings like beaches, swimming pools, free attractions and affordable accommodation taken into account.
2,000 parents were surveyed by experts and 66% said that free days out were an important part of their planning whilst 68% said they want educational places to visit.
The city of York managed to featured in the top ten, just missing out on a top five spot in 6th place. Cornwall, Lake District and Devon took the top spots.
