There is nothing better than a pie. It satisfies all urges, and can basically be anything we you like as long as it’s filled up inside some lovely crusty pastry. And the Best Pie Awards 2022 is a great award that finds some of the best in the country.
You can’t get more Northern than pie, can you? So it comes as no surprise that we make it pretty damn well. Turns out the British Pie Awards agree too, praising one of Yorkshire’s top pie shops with a highly commended in the hot-eating savoury pie category.
The world-renowned awards take place annually and see hundreds of pies submitted every single year, making for a whole lot of competition.
Leading the pack for us Yorkshire folk was Kevin’s Pies in Sheffield, with their rabbit pie entry. Kevin’s Pies’ aim is to offer the best-tasting pies from quality ingredients you can trust.

The British Pie Awards celebrates the craft and skill of British piemakers, with over 100 entries being considered for the awards each year – so to get a mention from these awards is an honour in itself.
The awards have been going for over 14 years and are celebrated by pie makers across the country as they compete in their chosen category.
