Yes, you heard right! You can take your bottle and get a refill of wine from this incredible wine shop Bottle Chop in Headingley.
Although not new, the idea is great for those that don’t like to think about the environment and we like the idea of picking up our wine by the bottle.
The Bottle Shop is brought to you by the people behind the coffee shop Fika North, Gemma and Elis Williams, and serves up natural wines, and craft beer and is also a delicatessen.
After trialling selling wine from the Fika North window, the couple decided to take a chance and opened a shop at the former Beer Ritz on Weetwood Lane and opened the wine shop in August last year.
Whether you want to pick up a bottle of natural wine or in the ethos behind this place is simple “it’s just wine made the way it was always meant to be, without intervention and the addition of any crap” is how the couple behind the shop describe it on their website.
The couple has created a relaxing and chill environment with an aim to make natural wines accessible to everyone.
If you choose to sit in you can enjoy an array of cheese and meat boards which are available until 9pm every day.
Bottle Chop is open Sun – Thurs 10:00 till 22:00 and Friday – Saturday 10:00 till 23:00. Bottle Chop, 14 Weetwood Lane, Headingley, Leeds, England LS16 5LX
