Officially revealing the news just last night, BrewDog is set to open up a brand new bar in Huddersfield – taking over a site just a “stones throw” away from the university on Zetland Street.
The popular brewery has over 50 UK bars already, with their newest venture set to open in collaboration with the much-loved burger spot, Red’s True Barbecue. A statement about the new opening reads: “We’re opening – very soon.”
“We’re bringing craft beer back! A stone’s throw from the Uni, get ready for your new go-to spot for all things craft.
“We’ll be pouring all the best craft beer from BrewDog and friends, alongside an absolutely epic food menu from Reds True BBQ. Hope you’re ready for us!”
BrewDog is well known for its popular craft beers including Punk IPA, Dead Pony Club and many more, with Red’s True Barbecue already finding success in big cities such as Leeds, Manchester and Leicester. The new spot will serve up a meaty food menu complimented by BrewDog’s Scottish-made brews, and while there’s currently no word on exactly when, we can rest assured that it’ll be ‘soon’.
BrewDog currently has a number of Yorkshire bars, with two sites in Leeds, one in Sheffield and another in York. The brewery has also secured sites in both Headingley and Bradford as part of their Yorkshire expansion.
