These Enchanting Winter Teepees Have Popped Up In Yorkshire For Christmas

Nothing screams Christmas more than an alpine escape filled with fizz, firepits and mulled wine – which, luckily for us Yorkshire folk – is exactly what Italian favourite Piccolino has in store for us this festive season.

Launching just in time for the Christmas markets returning across the region, the annual ‘Chic Chalet’ is back, with plenty of warming touches to enjoy right up until January.

Open now at Piccolino Collingham and Ilkley, the cosy Chic Chalets will allow guests to experience the cult-favourite Italian in a whole new way, with twinkling fairy lights setting the festive tone, cosy firepits providing the warmth and grand candelabras adding a touch of elegance to the alpine-style teepees.

To accompany, guests will also be treated to a stunning menu of seasonal fare, too, packed with dishes such as tagliatelle with beef ragu, turkey escalopes, classic minestrone soup, and crispy slow-cooked duck with wine sauce.

For dessert, expect Catalan-style crème brùlée, black cherry cheesecake, and warm chocolate fondant stuffed with delicious truffles.

Cocktail-wise, expect warming mulled wine, Amaretto with fig liqueur and blackberries, tequila with almond and orange syrup, and vanilla vodka with blackberry, apple and pear.

The Chic Chalets are open now, and you can book your table here.
