This Yorkshire one-bed terrace in Wakefield might look unassuming from the outside, but this house has had a transformation into a medieval castle complete with its own drawbridge and it could be yours.
The one-bed castle for the king that wants to feel royal without the massive cleaning bills has gone viral on TikTok after Adam Zinho took us for a tour around the fancy medieval building.

In the understatement of the century, the Estate agent has suggested that there is scope for modernisation, considering it has a drawbridge we’d say it definitely does.

The house is located in Mortimer Row, Horbury in Wakefield and is going up to auction for a guide price of £110,000. Images of the house show how incredible the transformation is.

If you’re into that kind of thing, the house is perfect for someone who has an obsession with history or maybe makes it a sweet Airbnb.
Even the bathroom has had a royal makeover, along with the living room which comes complete with renaissance carpet, wood beams and an old-style metal gate doorframe.
It also has crimson drapes on either side of the stained glass arched window and an old fashion fireplace for decorative purposes. But, don’t worry it does look like they haven’t gone the whole hog with their transformation.
The place looks like it has running water and radiators so you won’t have to live quite like the medieval ages.
