‘Our Yorkshire Farm’ Fans Excited By ‘New Beginning’ From Ravenseat After Amanda Owen’s Update

We’ve all felt the cold snap this past week, which has turned us at The Yorkshireman into hermits hiding under our blankets. But, life on Ravenseat Farm for Amanda Owen and the family goes on. And literally in this case as the Our Yorkshire Farm welcome a new calf during the cold snap.

Posting to her Instagram on Thursday, Amanda shared the news of the new calf writing: “Breakfast in bed for the new mother. #yorkshire #cow #calf #straw #hay #morning.”

Fans were quick to congratulate the family and share their thoughts on the sweet update with one person writing: “A new life has begun.”

Another added to their comment saying: “Gorgeous, another new beginning.” with a third gushing “How magical, no doubt cuddles later from the girls.”

Amanda Owen, otherwise known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess is renowned for sharing daily updates from life on the farm with her hundreds of thousands of followers across social media platforms.

But, it was her TV show with the family and other appearances that thrust her into the public eye, and the Yorkshire farmer as a new show starting next week called.

Airing on More 4, Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives will see the nation’s favourite shepherdess travel across the UK to lift the lid on what life on the farm is like for other families.

The synopsis for the first episode, which airs Wednesday 25th January, reads: “The famous shepherdess visits farms across the country and immerses herself in the day-to-day lives of the farmers, starting in Shetland.

“Kirsty and Aimee own a coastal farm at the northernmost tip of the UK and welcome Amanda to come join them to learn what it’s like cattle farming in such an isolated setting and to give her a taste of Shetland fare”.

And thats’ not all she’s up to the busy farmer is also going on tour with her Celebreating the Seasons book.

Fans can expect Amanda to spill various secrets from Ravenseat Farm, while taking the audience through her journey from Huddersfield, to leaving town life behind for one of the most remote places in England.
