So, what are the best restaurants in Bridlington?
1. Salt on the Harbour

A seafood restaurant located as the name suggests – on the harbour – serving up the freshest locally caught fish, lobster, crab and more alongside other family favourites. Downstairs at Salt on the harbour, you can enjoy a classic fish & chips restaurant experience with an outdoor terrace where you can watch the world go by, looking out over one of Yorkshire’s top seaside towns. Salt refers to itself as one of the best restaurants in East Yorkshire, and we’d have to agree, having experienced a fine dining experience with breathtaking views of the harbour complementing it upstairs. We enjoyed the lobster thermidor and a classic fish & chips supper, both of which left us feeling more than satisfied. The thermidor, especially, was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. It’s easy to see why this is one of the best places to eat in Bridlington.

2. C.R.E.A.M

A new burger and ribs joint located in Old Town, it’s fast becoming the hottest casual dining restaurant in Bridlington. An underrated hidden gem filled with great old-fashioned pubs, the location has been given hipster cool vibes by a local couple, Alex and Holly, who know their stuff. The small independent restaurant C.R.E.A.M has a passion for Yorkshire produce, dishing up home-cooked ribs, smash burgers, and delicious fried chicken along with a whole host of fantastic sides. We were blown away on our visit and got stuck into one of their burgers and the dirty fries. The latter of which was loaded with fried chicken, cheese and sriracha. The burger was topped with plenty of cheese and maple bacon, and the touch of chip spice with fries was a great nod to East Yorkshire’s heritage. The sides here are just as good. The mac and cheese was some of the well be the best we’ve had in a long time. This is a spot we’d recommend bumping up your bucket list.
