Let’s face it, we all love having a nosy on Rightmove, even if we aren’t looking to buy. And, it’s even better when there is a celebrity attached. Well, Jeremy Clarkson has been on our TVs ever since I was a young lad. Known for hosting the popular BBC car series Top Gear alongside Richard Hammond and James May, Clarkson is now seeing success over on Prime Video with his hit farming show Clarkson’s Farm. But did you know the presenter turned farmer, grew up in Yorkshire?

Not only that, but his childhood home has gone up for sale. A far cry away from his Cotswold farm, Diddly Squat, his childhood home is in Doncaster and is on sale for £1,475,000 in the village of Tickhill. The Grade II-listed home was once home to Jeremy along with his mother Shirley, who is famously known for making Paddington Bear teddy bears.

Rowland Bridge House is a Grade II-listed detached house that sits on the water’s edge and spans an impressive 5,000 sqft. It’s beautifully done out and has plenty of space. With hall and cloakroom, dining room, sitting room, drawing room, orangery, living kitchen, utility room, master bedroom with dressing room and en suite, guest bedroom with dressing room and en suite, three further bedrooms, and a house bathroom.

It also has a south-facing walled garden with an outdoor kitchen. The garden overlooks the water and is an idyllic space in Yorkshire for sure. Tickhill is a picturesque village steeped in history and full of character, offering quaint village charm and rich heritage with cosy pubs, which may not be quite as busy as Clarkson’s newest venture, The Farmer’s Dog.
