Enjoy Beers, Bratwursts & Brass Bands As Oktoberfest Returns To Leeds Next Month

Dust the lederhosen off, and get ready to dance to some Oom-pah band music. Yes, summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Oktoberfest is bringing all the great B’s beers, bratwursts and brass band fun to Leeds City Centre this October.

Yep, you can enjoy all things German at this amazing festival without having to leave the country. Oktoberfest is a long-standing tradition in Germany that has been going on since 1810 in Munich, where citizens were encouraged to eat, drink and have fun at the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and his princess bride.

After a year’s hiatus, the legendary Bavarian beer festival is back bigger and better than ever. The four-day Oktoberfest will kick off on Thursday 7th October at Globe Waterside in the city centre (just a 5-10 min walk from Leeds train station) with frivolity taken you through the whole weekend.

Expect an electric atmosphere as you make your way through huge steins of beer, dance on the tables and gorge yourself on beautiful German bratwurst. We can’t be the only ones ready to make up for lost time this autumn?
