Channel 5 viewers are unanimous in their reaction to Dan Walker and Helen Skelton’s latest program. The new series, titled Dan & Helen’s Pennine Adventure, premiered on Tuesday, August 15, marking the first collaboration between the two TV presenters.
In this four-part series, Dan and Helen join forces to explore the Pennine trail, engaging with local residents and workers along the way. Their journey unveils the area’s well-kept secrets and hidden treasures, providing a unique insight into the region.
By immersing themselves in the rural landscape they will explore the iconic towns, villages and other areas in the countryside whilst taking on physical challenges.A different leg of the journey will make up each episode of Dan and Helen’s journey where they will use different forms of transport and take part in new activities.
It was great to see the two up in the Peak District trying their hand at a bit of sheep shearing as well as highlighting the beauty of the area as they headed up the the Yorkshire town of Marsden.

The pair had a real on screen chemistry and made the show a real enjoyable bit of escapism whilst discovering all that Yorkshire – and the Peaks has to offer.
We weren’t the only ones to enjoy the feel good show as many views took to Twitter to show their love of the pair.
