Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen Shares News Of Huge Temp Drops On Ravenseat Farm

Summer is most definitely over. The cold is slowly creeping in over God’s Own Country and more in the isolated areas of the Yorkshire Dales including Ravenseat Farm where the Owen family live. And this morning Amanda Owen shared with her followers that temperatures dropped into the minuses last night.

That’s right! The Yorkshire Shepherdess, who lives up in the Yorkshire Dales with her nine children on Ravenseat Farm shared posts of roaring fires and chopping wood that shows that autumn is officially here.

Sharing the post via her Instagram, The Yorkshire Shepherdess wrote: “Nithered. 0.3 C overnight.
Keeping the home fires burning.”

Fans of the Yorkshire Shepherdess were as shocked as we were sharing our thoughts with the Owen family.

Amanda lives regularly delights fans with insights into the picturesque life up on Ravenseat Farm in the Swaledale region of the Yorkshire Dales with her beautiful photography and these snaps of the weather changing to the next season are lovely.

It just makes us pine for series 6 of Our Yorkshire Farm on Channel 5 to be announced. The popular docu-series, which follows the family depicting life on the farm has become one of the channel’s most popular shows.
