We’ve all been experiencing freezing cold conditions across the country last week. And, Yorkshire’s favourite Shepherdess, Amanda Owen and her family have been feeling the cold temperature even more up on Ravenseat Farm in The Yorkshire Dales.
The Our Yorkshire Farm star shared a snap to her social channels with a few images showing how the Yorkshire Shepherdess and the rest of the Owen family were dealing with the cold weather.
The tweet posted yesterday captioned: “It’s been absolutely freezing” with an image of -9C and some beautiful snaps featuring some of the Owen girls and a snow-carpeted Yorkshire Dales.

Other images shared saw Amanda Owen and the family dealing with winter on the farm from feeding the animals to playing in the snow.
It’s not all fun and games during winter on the farm though with Amanda sharing that the farm was without any power overnight, with a beautiful picture of her daughter Clemmie.
One fan commented about burst pipes due to the weather turning warmer and Amanda replied: “One burst already to contend with” showing how it can be hard up there in the Dales during the colder months.
Fans were quick to show their amazement at her quickly the Owen girls were growing up and to wish the family a merry Christmas.
In other news, Clive and Reuben’s new show Beyond the Yorkshire Farm is proving popular with fans. Showcasing the father-son relationship that made the Our Yorkshire Farm series so appealing to viewers.
The next episode of the series will be shown on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm and will be the third episode in the brand new series that shows Reuben and Clive in their new venture.
